Veteran actor Nasser has designed a one-year course in acting for a new breed of actors Actor Nasser, who has over three decades of experience, has always been passionate about teaching. When he gets time, the seasoned actor conducts workshops to coach young artistes. Now, he has come up with a one-year course in acting, which he has conceptualised, researched and structured. A PROUD MOMENT FOR RAJIV MENON’S MINDSCREEN FILM INSTITUTE

A PROUD MOMENT FOR RAJIV MENON’S MINDSCREEN FILM INSTITUTE Rajkummar Rao starrer Newton, directed by Amit Masurkar, is India's official entry to the Oscars this year, which has already been getting rave reviews from the critics and audience.   The film has cinematography by Swapnil Sonawane, who was a former student of Rajiv Menon's Mindscreen Film Institute. Swapnil’s cinematography emphasizes the jungle’s dusty tones and finds interesting vantage points to capture the action from, using some visually appealing wide-angle shots. Swapnil Sonawane, the cinematographer, chose to shoot the film in natural light so as to make it look real. Great care had to be taken to shoot scenes at the right time. A fair amount of research went there as well – in choosing the right camera and lenses. Cowboy, Painter and Photographer

Photography Cowboy, Painter and Photographer January 10, 2017   No Comments As a child my first impression of English films was seeing Mackenna’s Gold, a big budget western film, where cowboys went looking for the mountain of gold and got corrupted and died by its lure. I was fascinated by Cowboys, read cowboy comics, tied a handkerchief around my neck galloped around my house waiting to lasso a wild horse. Since I used to live in a flat in Bombay, I could only lasso, the carpet that was rolled and kept under our divan, which would be spread out when visitors came in the evening. How did the image of the cowboy and westerns come to dominate world cinema, how did this uniquely American invention become one of the great cultural exports of America?
