Filmmaker from the Northeast to look out for
Chow Partha Borgohain, after his schooling in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, completed a photography and filmmaking course at the Madras Christian College and later joined the Mindscreen Film Institute to study film and motion photography. Thereafter, he worked as an assistant to renowned cinematographer and director Rajiv Menon, where he worked on various feature films and advertisements. His latest achievements are a feature film 1962: My Country Land which has been screened at the Cannes International Film Festival.
