Director Manikandan, who wrapped up Aandavan Kattalai last month, has been concentrating on the release of his second venture, Kuttrame Thandanai.

In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Manikandan said, "The title for this film, Kuttrame Thandanai, was coined by Ilaiyaraaja sir. Many people told me not to approach Ilaiyaraaja for music, but I felt, Raaja sir would be the perfect man for this film. And the music for this film has come out really good. Also, I have got the remake rights for a Hollywood project.”

His first movie Kaakka Muttai was both commercially successful and critically acclaimed. With Kuttrame Thandanai and Aandavan Kattalai releasing this month, he will start work on his next ‘Kadaisi Vivasayi’ soon. With this Hollywood movie rights coming to him, looks like Manikandan will be a busy man for the coming years.
